More and more married women are juggling various tasks, that of being a working individual, a mother and a wife. The challenging condition of the global economy has caused more women to work while they are married and have children. Added to that is the growing trend that most women are just not content with being stay-at-home wives.

The challenge

The main problem that will likely face a working mother is time. There might not be enough time for work and for the family. Furthermore, it is impossible not to feel the usual pressure experienced at work and at home and they could affect one or both environments.

Coping with the pressure

However, as the saying goes – if there’s a will, there’s a way. The primary thing that working mothers should keep in mind is that the time they spend with their families and their work must give emphasis more on quality instead of quantity.

No matter how short the time is left for family activities, women should make the most of it. There is also the option of working at home. A lot of industries nowadays offer telecommuting jobs or home-based employment.

Try to finish work in the office and don’t bring it home. Women should be able to create an invisible line that separates work from family. Proper time management is all that’s needed. After all, we women have always been known to be good at multi-tasking, particularly when our families are involved.
